Then, the blissful keepers, taking the suddenly found object of their quest, sought from the king more young children with whom they might be able to fan into flame^{1cf. 2 Tim 1:6; ἀναζωπυρέω} the letters. When many of them were instructed, he commanded that the same training be conducted everywhere: Whereby the blissful one attained the fair rank of vardapet, in which, for roughly two years, he directed his teaching with the same letters. And thus, becoming immersed in the details of the Law,^{2պատգամ, cf. Acts 5:20, ῥήματα, sayings/matters of} they^{3i.e., the students} transcended^{4մինչեւ (բնաւ) արտաքոյ զերծանել — escaped all the way out} their natural state.^{5cf. Romans 8:2; Ephesians 2:15}
